Today was our first day of teaching- we had to read this
book about Karen Silkwood. There was a
movie made from this story, Meryl Streep was the main actress. Anyway we made a
jeopardy game from the book, the kids did great. At first they were so shy but
by the end of the class there was a riot! They are fun though.
They know more English
than they pretend to know. I can’t wait to get our own classes; I know I am
going to fall in love with all my students. They are sweet though, they tell Bryce
he looks like Paul Walker and I look like Princess Kate. Americans look a lot alike
sometimes.
In the mornings we help the kids practice for a Shakespeare play in English. I don't know when they are performing it but I am excited to see how well they do.
